We read about and researched a ton of haunted bridges. Here are a few:
Choctawhatchee River Bridge – Newton, AL
A shallow hole near the bank of this bridge is said to be haunted. For decades, whenever someone fills the hole in, it will be empty again within a day. Even highway workers have attempted to fill the hole, but to no avail.
Old Birdsboro Bridge – Baumstown, PA
This bridge near Baumstown, PA has been haunted for more than a century. Eyewitness say the ghost of a woman wearing a veil has appeared to drivers as they approach the bridge. Buggy riders would see her encouraging them to cross the bridge. Several witnesses reported she spoke to them about the reality of life after death.
This bridge was built in the early 1900’s and is located in this city of Elmore, Ohio. The bridge runs on Toledo street or Ohio 51 over the Portage River. The haunting is said to be attributed to a motorcyclist who was involved in an accident on this bridge on March 21, possibly in 1918–the exact year is unknown.
